Investing in office spaces? Absolutely, says Stephanie Thatenhorst with conviction! And we can no longer keep to ourselves how the ambiance of a Munich office space in a prime downtown location was turned into a true WOW through masterful use of materials and patterns.
Modern Base, please!
The harmonious combination of a lavender-effect carpet (Object Carpet) with walls and doors in soft olive, tone-on-tone, together with art (curated by Martina Tauber), patterned fabrics (Dedar), and a statement mirror (Objekte unserer Tage), creates a phenomenally modern, inviting entrance and a cozy foundation for everyday office life.

Luxurious Lounge Airiness
Floor-to-ceiling curtains with large-scale patterns (Dedar) frame the mullioned windows in the lounge. Radiators discreetly blend in with coverings in the wall color, while the sofa (Hay) and midnight-blue corduroy armchairs (Gallotti & Radice) become the power players of creative meetings beneath the delicate pendant light (Areti).

From Brainstorming to Deep Work
The fresh color code continues into the offices. The shared workspace, furnished with ergonomically cool chairs (Vitra), retro-inspired tables (New Tendency), and cozy cognac-vanilla curtains, becomes a shining example of an airy New Work setting. Meanwhile, the lounge chair and ottoman (Menu), paired with the floor lamp (Flos), create strategic mental breathing spaces in the private office.

The right tone
A splash of flamingo at the sink, a slightly lighter shade on the walls, an art-deco-inspired mirror paired with an ultra-modern wall light – and the bathroom is complete. What appears so effortless on Munich’s Herrnstraße is the result of Stephanie Thatenhorst’s years of exploring perfect balances of color and material. This is how seemingly minimalist bathrooms are created, where we can continually reinvent ourselves.

Carte Blanche with coffee
In radiant white against a petrol-colored backdrop, the small kitchen calls out “Welcome” from afar. Admittedly, the aroma of fresh coffee helps. Still, to call this functional, streamlined built-in model (Fantin) merely a coffee kitchen would be an understatement. We all know that a coffee paired with a quick exchange of ideas (in a stylish setting) can often spark the most brilliant projects.
