A Tribute to Craftsmanship, Imagination and Italian Design
When the exceptional textile craftsmanship of cc-tapis meets the iconic visual language of Fornasetti, the result is a collection that brings together art and interior design in an extraordinary way.
The designs translate the surreal motifs of the Fornasetti archive into hand-knotted rugs of remarkable precision. Crafted in Nepal from the finest natural materials, each piece combines traditional craftsmanship with contemporary design, transforming the rug into a true work of art.
The collaboration between these two iconic Italian design houses embodies the highest standards of material quality, exceptional craftsmanship and a shared passion for expressive interiors. The result is a collection of objects that transcend function, creating a dialogue between architecture, art and design.
Selected pieces from the cc-tapis × Fornasetti collection are currently presented exclusively in Stephanie Thatenhorst's showroom on Pacellistraße 5 in Munich. As part of a carefully curated installation, the rugs enter into a compelling dialogue with furniture, artworks and objects from Stephanie Thatenhorst's interior universe. The presentation will be on view until the end of September.
The showroom is open by appointment. During a personal guided tour, visitors are invited to discover the collection and gain insight into the curatorial concept behind the installation.
