The Legato Single String pendant light was designed by Luca Nichetto for Matter Made. Legato, a musical term for a smooth and uninterrupted connection of notes, is a modular lighting system that follows the same principle. Legato is available in both vertical and horizontal configurations. The vertical strings offer flexible possibilities—from a pendant light to a towering column of modules.

The Legato Single String modules can be directed upwards to create a soft light reflected from the ceiling, downwards for more direct illumination, or a combination of both.
