A floating body made of light and fiber
The Lunar pendant lamp, designed by Faye Toogood for Tacchini, is a subtle intervention in the space—an object somewhere between a luminaire and a sculpture. Crafted from natural paper fibers, the surface appears as if drawn: irregular, vibrant, almost handwritten.
The shape is reminiscent of a floating planetary sphere—raw, elemental, yet poetically remote. The light penetrates the material softly, without harshness or direction. Lunar doesn't glow—it breathes. An object that is less a light source than an atmosphere—for spaces that allow for tranquility. Handmade in Italy.
