David Pompa's Ambra series unites sculptural clarity with the sensual depth of natural materials. Comprising Pendant, Pendant Double, and Wall Light, the collection is presented in three distinctive colors – Red, Black, and Grey White – revealing an expressive interplay of texture, light, and form.
David Pompa designs and manufactures his lighting fixtures in Mexico. The Ambra series embodies his design philosophy of combining traditional craftsmanship with contemporary design. Crafted from the volcanic stone Toba – in conjunction with precisely machined aluminum – the resulting light fixture unites natural authenticity and technical elegance.
The Ambra series is an homage to material contrasts and architectural balance. The porous stone reflects light softly and warmly, while the metal lends clean lines and structure. As a single piece, it creates subtle accents; arranged in groups, it develops a rhythmic, almost architectural presence. Ideal for living spaces, galleries, or public areas where light becomes part of the spatial composition.
