A vessel between rhythm and relief
Designed between 1955 and 1957 and now reissued in a limited edition of 199 pieces, this vase is an authentic testament to the creative heart of Italian mid-century design. Its slender, cylindrical body bears the characteristic relief decoration of Bitossi ceramics—linearly structured, graphically composed, almost architectural.
The surface is animated by the contrast of deep blue and warm terracotta, applied in shimmering layers. The result is an exciting interplay of color, texture, and form—rigorous in its construction, yet expressive in its expression. Vase 1930 is less a container than a sculptural object—a solitary accent in the room that connects history and the present. Made in Italy.
