Mexican design highlight - EL COJÍN
With our EL COJÍN seat cushion, Acapulco Design brings new comfort to your Acapulco Chairs. These seat cushions, a hybrid of a cushion and padded blanket, further enhance the comfort of both Acapulco Chairs and Hanging Chairs. The surface is pleasantly soft to the touch. The oversized format allows you to place the cushion in Acapulco and Hanging Chairs as you prefer. Of course, the "COJÍNES" can also be used independently as a comfortable blanket or pillow.
"LOC COJINES CDMX_ST" were developed in cooperation with designer Stephanie Thatenhorst as part of the COMUNIDAD CDMX collection.
The seat cushions are made in Germany and are cut, filled with cotton, and then stitched in matching colors in Aschau am Chiemsee. The entire production chain is handled in-house. The fabric comes from an upcycled fabric supplier in Italy.
Our COJÍNES are water-repellent and therefore suitable for indoor and outdoor use.

The international interior brand ACAPULCO DESIGN is collaborating with interior designer STEPHANIE THATENHORST for the first time.
The resulting capsule collection, entitled "COMUNIDAD CDMX", tells the story of a summer design affair between two creative minds, which takes them through the multifaceted metropolis of Mexico City - right into the heart of a vibrant, urban community and Mexican craftsmanship. The result is an unconventional play of colors from
Stephanie Thatenhorst.
This creative collaboration reflects a holistic vision: to set accents while simultaneously conveying a touch of luxury and exclusivity. Each piece in the collection speaks not only of craftsmanship but also of a design that, in its lightness and elegance, is both timeless and progressive.
