Colorful design highlight
The creative collaboration between Acapulco Design and Stephanie Thatenhorst resulted in a variety of handcrafted ceramic vases inspired by Mexican craftsmanship. The Floreros collection incorporates the eclectic color scheme of the "COMUNIDAD CDMX" capsule collection and adds expressive accents to the room.
The Cenote model is inspired by the water caves of the same name, which are particularly common on the Yucatan Peninsula in Mexico.
Vase Rumba is inspired by the maracas rattles of the same name, which are often used in Mexican Mariachi music.
The Trompeta model, on the other hand, is inspired by the Mariachi trumpets of the Mexican music group from the state of Jalisco.
MADE IN PORTUGAL
The international interior brand ACAPULCO DESIGN is collaborating with interior designer STEPHANIE THATENHORST for the first time.
The resulting capsule collection, titled "COMUNIDAD CDMX," tells the story of a summer design affair between two creative minds, which takes them through the multifaceted metropolis of Mexico City—into the heart of a vibrant, urban community and Mexican craftsmanship. The result is an unconventional play of colors by Stephanie Thatenhorst.
This creative collaboration reflects a holistic vision: to set accents while simultaneously conveying a touch of luxury and exclusivity. Each piece in the collection speaks not only of craftsmanship but also of a design that, in its lightness and elegance, is both timeless and progressive.
