A dialogue between gravity and lightness
The Astral wall shelf, designed by Faye Toogood for Tacchini , is a sculptural composition of organic form and functional minimalism. The elliptical contours of the shelf body evoke orbits, inspired by celestial bodies and galactic motion—part of the "Cosmic" collection, which combines architecture with astronomy.

Crafted from sheet steel with a powder-coated surface, Astral combines two contrasting poles: a glossy exterior finish that reflects light and creates accents – contrasting with the matte, understated interior. The shelves themselves are clearly defined, yet embedded in a flowing line, creating a dynamic harmony. A work of art with function – and a wall shelf that creates more space than it occupies.
