A piece of history, newly staged
The Vintage Cabinet Lara is an original design by Carlo De Carli for Fialm from the 1960s—restored and reinterpreted in the Draga & Aurel studio. The slim, tall form stands on elegant legs and combines Italian mid-century sophistication with contemporary expressiveness.
The rosewood veneer structure is painstakingly hand-painted and finished with colored epoxy resin on the front – a play of depth and transparency that lends each chest of drawers its own individual character. Two side-mounted hangers, an integrated mirror, and finely patinated brass handles add subtle, functional accents.
This piece of furniture combines past and present – ​​with an almost sculptural lightness and an inimitable sense of materiality.
